Have you also found lists of Chinese suppliers on the Internet and wondered whether they are trustworthy? If you read this article to the end, you will understand why these lists, by themselves, are not a sufficient guarantee.
What the lists do offer
- An initial set of names of suppliers reported as problematic.
- Common patterns in scams and inappropriate behavior.
- Useful experience shared by other importers.
What the lists do not cover
- Companies that change names frequently to avoid being tracked.
- Recent suppliers, not yet on the radar of reports.
- Subtle situations: deliveries with quality below the agreed level, delays, partial fraud.
- Specific contexts (your sector, your country, your destination market).
How to verify properly
- Check business license, export license and ICP registration of the website.
- Request and verify references from real clients.
- Order samples and audit at least one of the candidate suppliers.
- Coordinate inspection and supervised loading at origin.
At MingTa Group we audit Chinese suppliers locally before recommending them to our clients. Contact us to operate with verified partners.
