Aragon aspires to become a logistics hub for the Asian market

· MingTa Group

On Wednesday, March 21, the Zaragoza Convention Center hosted the 1st Congress "Aragon and the Asian Market", a working day attended by leading figures from the logistics, industrial and institutional sectors of the region.

The event was driven by the strategic position of Aragon in southern Europe and by the development of the rail corridor that connects Zaragoza with Yiwu, in eastern China, one of the longest land routes used today for goods between both continents.

An infrastructure ready to scale

Aragon brings together a strong combination of factors that make it an ideal logistics hub: a privileged geographic location, a multimodal platform (Plaza), and direct rail connection with Asian markets. Plaza is already one of the largest logistics platforms in Europe and concentrates a significant share of the goods that move between Spain and the rest of the continent.

Opportunities for importers

The consolidation of Aragon as a gateway for the Asian market opens new opportunities for companies that import from China. Faster lead times by rail, lower costs compared to air freight, and a regional logistics ecosystem that simplifies distribution to the rest of Europe.

At MingTa Group we follow these developments closely so that our clients can take advantage of the most efficient routes for their imports. Contact us to design the logistics strategy that best suits your operations.
