- Sourcing: If you are looking for metal spare parts, such as carburetors, fuel pump, fuel tank and exhaust pipes, the vast majority are manufactured in Guangdong (southern China) and in the provinces of Zhejiang (Yongkang City), Hebei and Jiangsu to the east. For electronic parts, such as engine starters and ignition coils, Guangdong province is the place of origin.

- Check certifications: You have to make sure that the supplier you chose does indeed have the certifications required by your country’s customs.
- Ask for samples: There are more complex products for which we recommend asking for samples. Depending on the supplier sometimes they will not charge you for the sample but you will have to pay for the shipping or maybe if the supplier sees that you are a potential important customer they may send you the samples for free.
- Confirm the purchase order: Once you confirm the purchase, make sure to check the agreed incoterm, the production times and the payment method.
- Check the packaging: Keep in mind that many spare parts may be heavy or fragile. That is why the carton should have at least five layers and be wrapped in bubble wrap.
- Quality inspection: There are products that need quality control, otherwise you are going to get unpleasant surprises.

- Shipping quote: Request a shipping and handling quote from a reliable forwarder.
